Brian and Sage Drakeford were living their life as a loving couple and devoted parents until Sage caught her husband cheating. SKELETONS BEYOND THE CLOSED DOOR by Nanette M. Buchanan is the story of Brian and Sage Drakeford. Happily married...or so Sage thought. Thatwas until she saw her husband Brian committing the ultimate betrayal and
disrespect to her and their family. Brian knows that if his children
find out what he has done it could possibly destroy any type of
relationship with them. So he asks Sage to carry the burden of keeping
it a secret.
When Sage meets Kris, (a client) he expresses more of a personal
interest in her. Sage although wary, decides to see where this is
headed. Unfortunately, Kris has a questionable past...and instead of
keeping it a secret he is forthright and honest with Sage letting her
know what it is. The question is will Sage respect his honesty and move
forward or will she let the chance of love pass her by?
All of Brians secrets and indiscretions are beginning to catch up with
him. Slowly his skeletons are beginning to fall out of the closet.
Keeping Brian's secrets become to be too much for Sage to handle,
especially when she is finding out more and more other secrets he has
been keeping from her. When everything comes to a head, nothing will
ever be the same between any of them.
SKELETONS BEYOND THE CLOSED DOOR by Nanette Buchanan was a great read. It is a story of secrets and lies. Ms. Buchanan does an excellent job in
keeping the reader in suspense trying to figure out what will happen
next. It is one of those stories that will make you question what
if...what if this had happened to me? What would I have done differently
if anything? This would make for an excellent bookclub discussion.
Better yet...I could see this played out as a lifetime movie.

Skeletons Beyond The Closed Door by Nanette Buchanan
This is one hell of a good story. Ms. Buchanan has penned a story of a down low husband who has destroyed everything around him. Brian, one of the main characters has allowed his skeletons to spill out of the closet because he couldn't deal with the truth about himself. He has drawn his ex-wife and his two children into his web of deceit causing them to all be dysfunctional. However, once he and his wife meet Kris their whole world changes and the walls of deceit come tumbling down. I really enjoyed this story and will be looking forward to reading the next story from this author. Kudos Ms. Buchanan!!!!!

Skeletons Beyond The Closed Door by Nanette M. Buchanan is a tale about what happens when the door opens and all your dirty skeletons come falling out. Sage Drakeford divorced her husband Brian after his ultimate betrayal. She agreed to keep the reasoning for the divorce a secret from family and friends so not to diminish Brian is the eyes of their children and his coworkers.
Brian Drakeford had it all, a loving wife, children and a good job. But because he had skeletons he couldn't keep it all. Not being able to deal with who or what he his he continues to live a life of a Down Low brother.
Through his betrayal of his family his life begins to unravel and fall apart.
You will find yourself wishing for Brian's demise and cheering for the Sage and her children's strength.
Author Nanette Buchanan gives you peak of what goes on behind some closed doors.
